Today was quite difficult to interpret on the forecasts, but several launched after 11:30 finding lift only to 4500’QNH, which is only 3300′ AGL. A hold was called to launching, then the next wave launched well after midday, including the 2 self launchers. Two pilots decided to save their money for a better day, however several of the braver souls contacted the cu line to the north and enjoyed climbs to over 10,000′. The kilometers notched up took us to 3rd place on the OLC World Club list, jumping over Lake Keepit GC.
